Focused work for a specific condition

Add-Ons

Add only the work your vehicle actually needs. We diagnose the material and the contamination first, choose the least aggressive process that will do it, and set clear expectations about what will and will not improve.

Book an Add-On

How these work

Bolt-ons, not upsells

Every add-on below sits on top of a booked detail. None of them are hidden inside a service you have already paid for, and none of them are things we will decide you need without asking.

  1. 01

    We look before we quote

Severity changes the price on several of these. You get the number for your car, from photos or at the walkaround, before anything starts.

  2. 02

    Least aggressive process that works

There is almost always a gentler method that gets ninety per cent of the result. We start there and escalate only if the material can take it.

  1. 03

    Time is additive

The durations below are added to your booked service, not absorbed into it. Three add-ons on a Standard Detail is a full day.

  2. 04

    Limits stated up front

Each one below carries what it cannot do. We would rather lose the add-on than have you pay for a result we cannot deliver.

Nine add-ons

Prices and added durations below follow the vehicle class you select. Change it next to any add-on, or at the top of the page — all of them stay in sync.

Pet hair, by severity

Pet hair is priced by how far it has worked into the fabric, because that is what actually decides the hours. These three photographs are what each level looks like — find yours.

Pet Hair — Light

Hair still sitting on the surface of the fabric. Rubber and pile-lifting tools bring it up, then a second vacuum pass clears it.

Priced by how much there is, not by how many pets you have. We will tell you which level yours is before we start.

Pet Hair — Medium

Hair that has begun working into the weave. Section-by-section agitation and repeated passes rather than one sweep across the car.

Some hair in older, coarser carpet will not fully release. Expect a large improvement, not a factory finish.

Pet Hair — Heavy

Hair matted so deep the carpet colour has changed. Hours of pile-lifting, extraction and hand work, one panel at a time.

This is the most time-consuming add-on we offer. On badly bonded hair a second visit sometimes beats one long one.

Exterior

Focused restoration work on the parts of the outside that a wash cannot fix.

Headlight Restoration

Oxidised lens sanded back through progressive grades, polished, then resealed with a UV coating so it does not haze over again in a season.

Cannot fix moisture inside the housing, a cracked lens, or a failing reflector. Those are replacement jobs.

Engine Bay Cleaning

Sensitive components covered, a low-pressure clean with degreaser matched to the surface, then dressed to an even satin finish.

Not done on a hot engine, and not on a bay with exposed wiring damage or a known leak. We will look first and say so.

Black Trim Restoration

Faded plastic cleaned back to bare surface, then re-pigmented rather than merely dressed, so the colour holds through several washes.

How long it lasts depends on how far the plastic has already gone. Severely chalked trim may need redoing yearly, and we will tell you if yours is that far.

Interior

Machine work on soft surfaces, plus treatment for what you can smell rather than see.

Steam and Shampoo Carpets

Carpets pre-treated, agitated, steamed and then extracted with a machine until the water coming out runs clear.

Leaves the carpet damp. Allow a few hours with the windows cracked before the car is back to normal.

Steam and Shampoo Seats

The same process on upholstery, worked panel by panel so the foam underneath never gets more water than it can give back.

Effective on soil and light staining. Dye transfer, ink and anything that has bleached the fabric will not lift.

Odour Treatment

Source removal first — the smell is almost always coming from something physical. Then treatment of the cabin and the ventilation system.

Honest odds: cooking, gym and pet smells usually go. Heavy smoke that has lived in the headliner for years generally fades rather than disappears.

Proof

Before and after

Same camera position, same light, same part of the same car. The only thing that changes between the two frames is the work.

A heavily yellowed and clouded headlight lens with the internals barely visible.
Before
The same headlight from the same angle, the lens clear with the reflector sharply visible.
After
Window trim and mirror base sun-faded to a pale chalky grey.
Before
The same trim from the same angle restored to a deep even satin black.
After
Car carpet and seat base densely matted with pale pet hair woven into the fibres.
Before
The same carpet and seat base from the same angle, clean with a uniform pile.
After
Headlight Restoration

Straight answers

What these cannot fix

Detailing has real limits. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you the disappointment along with the service.

  1. 01

    Odours

A smell is almost always a physical source. Remove the source and treatment works; leave it and no machine on earth will hold the result. Smoke that has been in a headliner for years fades rather than goes.

  2. 02

    Staining

Dye transfer, ink, bleach marks and anything that has changed the colour of the fibre are permanent. Extraction removes soil, not colour that has already moved.

  1. 03

    Failing trim

Plastic that has chalked all the way through can be re-pigmented but not restored. It will look markedly better and it will need doing again sooner than trim that was caught early.

  2. 04

    Permanent material damage

Cracked dashboards, split seams, worn-through fabric, perished foam and heat-warped plastic are cleaned, never repaired. Those are upholstery and trim jobs.
